The Opportunity: 
 

The Manager of Media Production leads VeSync's in-house media production function, overseeing the creation of high-quality photo, video, and multimedia content that supports product launches, brand campaigns, retail initiatives, e-commerce, and corporate communications.

This role is responsible for managing the media production team, production operations, studio resources, budgets, vendor relationships, and content delivery. As a member of the Creative Services leadership team, the Manager of Media Production partners closely with Creative Design, Copy & Editorial, Marketing, Product, and regional stakeholders to develop compelling visual storytelling that drives business results.

The ideal candidate combines creative vision, operational excellence, and leadership expertise to build scalable production capabilities while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

What you will do at VeSync:

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Media Production team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish team goals, performance expectations, and professional development plans.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, coaching conversations, and career development planning.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Build and manage freelance, contractor, agency, and production partner relationships.

Creative Production

  • Oversee the development and execution of photo, video, and multimedia content across all brands and channels.
  • Partner with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters, and Marketing teams to translate business objectives into compelling visual content.
  • Provide direction and feedback throughout concept development, production, and post-production.
  • Ensure all deliverables align with brand standards, creative strategies, and quality expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to elevate storytelling through emerging production techniques, technologies, and content formats.

Production Operations

  • Manage production planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and capacity across all projects.
  • Oversee all aspects of production including pre-production, production, post-production, and asset delivery.
  • Collaborate with Project Management to prioritize work, manage timelines, and mitigate production risks.
  • Develop and optimize production workflows, processes, documentation, and best practices.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Studio & Asset Management

  • Oversee studio operations, equipment maintenance, inventory management, and production resources.
  • Manage production budgets, vendor contracts, licensing agreements, and purchase requests.
  • Ensure proper organization, storage, governance, and accessibility of media assets within DAM systems and content libraries.
  • Maintain production standards for file management, archiving, and content security.

Business & Strategic Partnership

  • Serve as the primary production partner for internal stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Retail, and Corporate Communications.
  • Provide production recommendations that balance creative ambition, business objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Track and report on team performance, production metrics, utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to long-term planning, capability development, and strategic initiatives within Creative Services.
  • Champion innovation through the adoption of new production technologies, AI-powered workflows, and scalable content creation solutions.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all productions adhere to company policies, safety standards, legal requirements, licensing agreements, and brand guidelines.
  • Manage talent releases, location agreements, vendor contracts, and production documentation.
  • Identify and mitigate production-related risks throughout project execution.
What you bring to the role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 6-10+ years of professional experience in graphic design, marketing design, or creative services
  • Demonstrated success in developing multi-channel marketing campaigns and performance-driven creative
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign)
  • Proven expertise in:
    • Motion graphics and animation
    • 3D design tools (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender, or equivalent)
  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered creative tools (e.g., generative design, image/video tools, workflow automation)
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and performance optimization principles
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in product marketing, e-commerce, or high-volume digital environments
    • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and performance analytics
    • Experience working within established brand systems and scaling creative across multiple audiences or regions
