Live video production is the process of capturing, mixing, and broadcasting video content in real-time, often for events such as concerts, sports, conferences, or online streams. It involves the use of cameras, audio equipment, switchers, and streaming technology to create a seamless live viewing experience for audiences. Live video producers coordinate multiple technical and creative elements to ensure the broadcast runs smoothly and professionally. This field requires technical expertise, quick decision-making, and strong teamwork skills.

To thrive in Live Video Production, you need expertise in video editing, camera operation, live streaming, and a solid understanding of broadcast standards, often supported by a degree in media production or related field. Familiarity with live production switchers, streaming platforms, audio mixers, and software like OBS or Wirecast is typically required. Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and the ability to stay calm under pressure set outstanding professionals apart.
