As a Retail Photo Manager, you will oversee the staff, daily operational activities, and business objectives for their area of operation. This role will work directly with the Regional Photo Manager to set expectations for their team, deliver results that exceed, and grow the business. If you have a passion for photography, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, then this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain positive and successful relations with venue B2B clients
  • Ensure proper staff scheduling are being completed and communicated on-time
  • Champion exceptional guest service and persuasive upselling tactics with front line staff
  • Manage complete and accurate reporting according to company policies and procedures
  • Analyze daily sales activity and reports, creating action plans for continued growth for site
  • Coach and develop staff in both proper photo capture techniques and upselling sales tactics
  • Ensure staff follow venue safety rules and are working in a safe manner as per policy standards
  • Foster a constructive and collaborative atmosphere while upholding our fundamental values and policies
  • Maintain/oversee site cleanliness, employee uniform, and guest service delivery exceed company and location standards
  • Maintain a safe working environment, by reporting dangerous/suspicious items or persons to venue management
  • Protect company confidential data and ensure secure areas are always locked, this includes company computers containing sensitive data, safes and filing cabinets
  • Assist with all functions within a photo location in compliance with VENU+ policies and procedures
  • Assist in other tasks, duties, or projects as assigned by management

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Excellent written and verbal/interpersonal communications skills
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in theme park, hospitality, retail management or another environment with a strong customer focus background
  • Ability to lead, motivate/mentor, communicate, and generally interact with people in a positive way
  • Professional, energetic, and positive attitude with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze results, plan, make good decisions, and take responsibility
  • Able to work in outdoor/indoor environments
  • Reliable transportation for travel within assigned region
  • Working knowledge of computers and applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
