The Director of Public Relations and Marketing is a strategic leader within the property team,responsible forshaping and executing integrated communications and marketing strategiesthatelevate the property's positioning, strengthen brand equity, and drivemeasurable commercial impact.Reporting to the Commercial Director, this roleleadsmedia relations, reputation managementandcrisis communications, marketingcommunications, social and influencer engagement, and digital performance marketing,includingpaid mediaand SEO.

EssentialJob Functions:

TheDirector of Public Relationsposition includes but is not limited to the following duties. Other duties may be assigned:

Strategy Planning & Performance

  • Develop and lead the annual PR and Marketing strategy andsupportingchannel plans aligned with commercial goals and property priorities.

  • Lead the creation and execution of the integrated marketing and communications calendar, including campaign plans, global brand initiatives, and onproperty activationsand F&B promotions.

  • Identifyand analyze seasonal trends, key moments, priority feeder markets, and target audiences to inform annual marketing and campaign planning.

  • Apply market intelligence, consumer trends,guest insights,and competitive analysis to guide positioning and data-driven decision-making.Adjust strategies as market conditions evolve.

Public Relations & Reputation Management

  • Build andmaintainstrong relationships with tier-one local, regional, and international media through proactive pitching, press trips, immersive experiences,representation at in-market media eventsand ongoing engagement.

  • Maintain an up-to-date Press Room with media materials and property assets aligned to strategic narratives and brand standards.

  • Direct local PR agency work:definescopes, expectations, andsuccessmeasures;ensuredeliverablessupportpropertypriorities.

  • Develop and execute an annual awards strategy aligned with brand priorities, overseeing submissions for hospitality, travel, lifestyle, culinary, wellness, and sustainability awards.

Integrated Marketing and Digital Media

  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns acrosspaid,owned, andearnedchannels to drive reach, conversion, and aspiration, ensuring seamless orchestration and alignment with brand guidelines.

  • Define and activate the property's unique positioning through compelling storytelling and creative expression in partnership with Global and Regional teams.

  • Manage production and coordination of property photo and video shoots to support brand storytelling, always-on content needs, and campaign priorities;maintainthe property's image and video library and usage rights.

  • Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and activate strategic brand collaborations, applying strong judgment and commercial acumen to ensure alignment with brand positioning, guest experience, and measurable commercial impact.

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a relatedfield;or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 5 or more years of experience in public relations and marketing, including leadership responsibilities; luxury hospitality or related industry experience preferred.

  • Excellent writing, presentation and communications skills, with a strong sense of quality and a creative mind set.

  • Extensiveleadershipexperience inbothpublic relations and marketingdisciplines, ideally withinluxury hospitality and/or luxury goods/services.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute integratedcontentstrategies acrosspaid,owned, andearnedchannelsto deliver measurable outcomesandoptimizeROI.

  • Experience in overseeingpaidmediaand SEO strategies, interpreting performance dashboards, and partnering with agencies tooptimizeinitiatives.

  • Creative thinking and ability to translate ideas into innovative campaigns that deliver measurable results.

  • Critical thinking and sound decision-making under pressure.

  • High levelof organization with attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects.

  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

  • Compensation Range: $125,000 - $135,000
