Position Title: Construction Inspector

O2EPCM, Inc. is a prominent award-winning experienced firm providing Professional, Technical, Consulting and Management Services in the Planning, Design, Engineering and Construction Industry to Local, State, Federal Government Agencies, Utility Companies and Private Clients. We are dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for a variety of projects. 

Salary Range: $60 - $70 hourly

Location: Onsite (Sacramento, CA)

Position: Construction Inspector

Duties

Monitor contractor work for compliance with plans, specifications, and Cal Am standards. 
Verify installation of pipelines, services, valves, fittings, and appurtenances. 
Observe pressure testing, disinfection, and tie-ins.
Prepare daily inspection reports, which shall include, at a minimum:
Work performed each day
Crew size and equipment utilized
Work locations (stationing and/or GPS reference)
Quantities installed (pipe length, fittings, valves, etc.)
Safety observations and incidents
Issues, conflicts, delays, or deviations from approved plans
Provide daily photographic documentation of all work activities.
Photos must be labeled and correspond to reported work.
All reports must be prepared in PDF format and uploaded to Cal Am's eBuilder system. 
Reports and photos shall be uploaded within 24 hours of work performed, preferably by the 
end of the same workday. 
Failure to meet reporting timelines may be considered non-performance. 
GIS Support 
Provide GPS logging of installed pipelines and appurtenances in accordance with Cal Am 
GIS requirements.
Qualifications:
Experience with water main replacement projects.
Familiarity with AWWA and Cal Am standards.
Experience providing full-time inspection and daily reports.


Deliverables:
Daily inspection reports emailed and uploaded to eBuilder within 24 hours.
Photo documentation.
GPS/GIS datasets.
Closeout support
