Job Description Multi-Craft Machinist / Maintenance Tech Located in Detroit, MI **2ND & 3RD SHIFT** Overview: This position will require the ability to repair, maintain and install production machinery. As a result, a Multi-Craft will know the mechanical, electrical systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, welding, machine shop and shop safety. Possess and mentor troubleshooting and determining root cause analysis is essential.

Quick line changeovers are also performed as necessary by this position. The individual will be familiar with machine drawings and various machine schematics. This Multi-Craft will troubleshoot electrical issues that include but not all inclusive to use of testers, meters, check fuses, troubleshoot, change motors and correct rotation if necessary.

Align and change photo eyes. Do minor wiring and piping to panel. Be able to reset breakers, overloads, VFD and PLC and most troubleshooting.

Job Duties: Maintain all equipment control cabinets in a safe, clean & organized fashion Troubleshoot and install VFD's PLC troubleshooting and repair Servo Drive troubleshooting and repair Although the tasks from one class to the next are very similar, this person is considered to be a mentor to the group and lead by example Required to work safely and with sense of urgency and will be able to change priorities as production needs change Responsible for performing daily equipment maintenance and repair to support operations. Perform daily line changes as dictated by master schedule Perform daily Preventative, Predictive scheduled maintenance, Corrective repairs and work orders Work duties require mechanical skills, knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems requiring high degree of accuracy and consistency to minimize downtime This person will work all aspects of the shop at a craftsmen level This person, like all, must work well as a Team layer and strive to be an active member of the same team. Will aid Technicians and other trades required Must be capable of 100% continuous compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety requirements.

Must conduct self in a professional and ethical manner at all times as spelled out in this contract. Must have the confidence to work independently and with others with little direction from management. Must be able to work in hot and cold environments.

Must clean the work area and clean before leaving to go to another job. Personal toolboxes and tools cleaned prior to leaving at the end of the shift. Communicate to Operations and Maintenance all finished and unfinished work prior to vacating area to minimize downtime and record in appropriate places.

Performing other appropriate tasks as assigned by lead, planning and supervision. At no point shall any Tech or electrician be forced into the Multi-Craft Classification Electrician We're looking for an experienced Electrician to work with us on a variety of exciting projects. You'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Duties: Evaluate and assess electrical and mechanical space requirements, conducting site surveys and preparing blueprints Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems and equipment Maintain all documentation, including blueprints, schematics, sketches, drawings, calculations, and cost estimates Model and analyze electrical systems Review warranties and adhere to all electrical regulations and codes Create standards and write specifications for resources Evaluate materials and equipment Develop electrical diagrams and drawings Conduct inspections and tests on electrical systems Oversee and perform preventive maintenance Train new employees Write technical narratives and proposals Create detailed reports as needed Responsibilities: Perform electrical, instrumentation, and control wiring and installations Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power distribution systems and controls Perform electrical work ranging from simple to complex Complete all required paperwork, including permits, inspections, and inspection reports as needed Evaluate project plans and specifications and recommend adjustments where needed Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment Other duties as assigned **COMPETITIVE PAY!** $33/hour (BASED ON EXPERIENCE & INTERVIEW) SHIFT TIMES: 2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm 3rd Shift: 11:00pm - 7:30am
