Weld Destruct - 1st Shift

To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

• Conduct destruct test according to operation inspection instructions
• Notify operator, zone coordinators (or managers), Quality coordinator (or managers) and job setters when specifications are not being met
• Maintain documentation of weld destruct test data
• Follows written instructions to determine production requirements and part specifications as displayed on scheduling boards and work standard sheets.  
• Inspects components and assemblies visually for quality defects including scrap marks, rust, burrs, lamination, etc.
• Inspects parts for quality defects.  Measures part to ensure they meet specifications.
• Records and reports production, quality and inventory information accurately.

This full-time, hourly, role is a part of our Quality team and reports to the Quality Supervisor .

Required experience:

Ability to work with the following software packages or programs:

• Microsoft Office at a beginning level.
•  Effective email and electronic communication skills are required

Ability to work with the following tools or machinery

• Micrometers
• Calipers
• Scales
• Torque Wrench
• Instron Tester
• Air Hammer with chisel
