Job description

Olathe Ford RV Rental, Marketing & Administrative Assistant

Position Type: Full-time, On-Site

If you’re looking for a position where no two days are exactly the same, Olathe Ford RV Center has a unique opportunity for the right person!

We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and outgoing individual to assist several areas of our dealership, including our Rental, Service, Sales, and Marketing departments. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, is comfortable with technology and social media, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and isn’t afraid to jump in wherever help is needed. This is not a sit-at-a-desk-all-day position. One minute you may be photographing a new RV, the next you may be helping a rental customer, scheduling an appointment, creating a short video, or assisting our Service Department with clerical work. The right person will be a strong communicator, detail-oriented, friendly, outgoing, and able to follow established procedures and directions. You must be comfortable managing multiple priorities while making sure each task is completed accurately and thoroughly.

Position Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Photograph RV inventory and ensure units are presented professionally
  • Create short-form videos and other content for RV inventory, social media, and marketing
  • Edit photos and upload inventory photos and content to our website
  • Assist with social media content and dealership marketing
  • Assist the Rental Department with customer paperwork, reservations, and appointment scheduling
  • Answer incoming rental calls and assist both new and existing rental customers
  • Help prepare rental paperwork and customer information before appointments
  • Check in and inspect rental RVs when they return from trips
  • Document mileage, condition, damage, and other return information accurately
  • Assist the Service Department with clerical duties and appointment scheduling
  • Communicate and work closely with the Rental, Service, and Sales departments
  • Enter and maintain accurate customer and vehicle information in dealership systems
  • Learn and effectively use CRM, DMS, scheduling, and other dealership software
  • Assist with additional administrative and operational duties as needed

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be friendly, professional, outgoing, and comfortable working directly with customers
  • Be comfortable appearing in photos or videos when needed
  • Be dependable, punctual, and maintain strong attendance
  • Have excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Be able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Pay close attention to detail and follow established procedures
  • Be able to take direction and complete tasks accurately
  • Be resourceful and proactive when questions or issues arise
  • Be comfortable learning new software and technology
  • Understand the importance of teamwork and communication between departments
  • Be able to work effectively with employees and customers at all levels
  • Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow tasks through to completion
  • Experience with CRM or DMS systems, social media, photography, photo editing, customer service, scheduling, or the RV/automotive industry is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.

Benefits

Olathe Ford RV Center offers a competitive benefits package, including:

  • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Company-Paid Life Insurance
  • 401(k) with Company Match
  • Paid Personal Days
  • Paid Vacation Days
  • Paid Holidays
  • Paid Volunteer Day
  • New Vehicle Discounts
  • RV Rental and Purchase Discounts
  • Discounts on Products and Services
