Description

Phononic, a global leader in solid-state cooling and heating technology, is seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician that will be responsible for keeping production equipment operating by completing routines preventive maintenance requirements; also troubleshooting and fixing equipment issues. Phononic is looking for someone who can be a consultative, a problem-solving partner and support all technical solutions.


The assigned shift for this role is Fridays-Sundays working 6am-6pm (36 hours weekly).  The selected candidate will be eligible for our full benefits package.


Responsibilities

Performs routine preventive maintenance for all manufacturing equipment which includes ASM Die Bonders and Sorter, Besi Die Bonder, Dynatex Breaker, CSAM, MBTech Cleaner, Sikama Reflow Oven, Disco Saw, Plasma Therm ICP, AJA Sputter, and KDF Sputter.

Responsible for troubleshooting and fixing equipment related issues.

Able to follow the equipment diagram and manufacture manual to troubleshoot equipment issue.

Know how to use various test meters such as Fluke/Multi meter.

Ability to rebuild some broken equipment.

Has basic knowledge of the electrical, pneumatic, and vacuum system.

Know how to use CMMS to track equipment downtime

Provide oral and written pass down.

Requirements

Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to sit or stand for long period of time.

Capable of lifting to up to 35 lbs.

Has great interpersonally and work well with other team members.

Will be required to wear a cleanroom smocks and proper safety equipment.

Associates degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent technical degree and Min 2-4 yrs. maintenance field.
