YOUR MISSION (The Job Description):
The Fountain Woker -- QSR will play an important role in performing all sales transactions in the assigned area, which could be either in the front or back of the house. The Fountain Woker -- QSR will be responsible for the pick-up, count down, and return of the cash bank from miscellaneous count.
THE NITTY-GRITTY (The Essential Job Duties):
  • Responsible for opening register, preparing, and completing all paperwork for assigned outlet in an organized manner
  • Maintain accurate cash balance and handles money in a secure manner according to established standards
  • Handle forms and equipment necessary to complete settlement of checks
  • Answer telephones and handles guest inquiries in person or by telephone
  • Check all supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels
  • Responsible for the security and accuracy of assigned bank and is accountable for all overages and shortages
  • Understand basic food preparations and knowledge of appropriate beverage services
  • Responsible for handling all amenity requests
  • Responsible for ensuring all VIPs requests are handled in a professional, accurate and efficient manner
  • Ability to communicate with the guests and anticipate their needs
  • Politely ask the guest about preferences
  • Use upselling techniques by suggesting soups, starters, drinks, or desserts
  • Whenever appropriate mention the approximate time for delivery
  • Repeat the order back to the guest

THE WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Use a cash register.
  • Read, see, and write to read ticket totals, total up credit vouchers, log checks, etc.
  • Bend and reach to restock needed materials, retrieve dropped items, etc.
  • Work in crowds and noise, varying levels depending on customer volume
  • Handle money and balance bank at end of shift
  • Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and superiors
  • Handle high volume calls over the phone
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
