Job description

UF Corporation Inc is seeking Warehouse Phone Order Taker. This position serves as the direct link between retail buyers (e.g., convenience stores, smoke shops) and the distribution facility. The primary responsibilities include accurately receiving incoming orders over the telephone, entering data into the company's inventory or Point of Sale (POS) system, and coordinating with warehouse staff for fulfillment

Requirements

  • Order Entry & Verification: Listen to client requests over the phone, record item numbers, brands, and quantities, and meticulously key this data into the company's digital management system to prevent fulfillment errors.
  • Customer Service & Retention: Answer client inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery times. Build strong relationships with regular retail buyers and address any order discrepancies professionally.
  • Upselling & Promotions: Proactively inform callers about new tobacco or vape products, bulk discounts, and limited-time wholesale promotions.
  • Inventory & Stock Awareness: Maintain a strong working knowledge of warehouse stock levels. Relay out-of-stock notices to customers and suggest suitable substitute products when necessary.
  • Outbound Calling: Proactively contact established clients on a routine schedule (e.g., weekly or bi-weekly) to check in, take reorders, and ensure they have adequate inventory.
  • Liaising with Warehouse/Logistics: Coordinate directly with the warehouse, shipping, and delivery teams to ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently.
