JOB DESCRIPTION:
Caregivers are compassionate, caring, and patient individuals responsible for providing non-medical, in-home care services,
including companionship, homemaking, and personal care, to those in need, including seniors, those with disabilities, illness, or
injury, new or expectant mothers, and anyone else experiencing difficulties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Providing caring and dependable companionship
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
  • Preparing meals and snacks
  • Assisting with activities of daily living and personal hygiene (like dressing, eating, bathing and toileting)
  • Transportation to and from client's appointments and activities
  • Carrying out a Care Plan and tasks specific to your client
  • Creating compassionate and supportive solutions to your client's unique needs by collaborating with your Home

Helpers team and client's family
SERVICES PROVIDED:
  • Attendant Care: Attendant care services (ATTC) are provided to participants with nursing facility level of care needs.

Attendant care services provide direct, hands-on care to participants for the functional needs with ADLs.
  • Home & Community Assistance: Home and community assistance services provide instrumental activities of daily

living (IADL) for participants in their home. The services are provided when participants are unable to meet their
needs or when their informal caregiver or helper is unable to perform these needs for the participant.
  • Non-Medical Transportation: Providing transportation following the service plan addressing the specific needs

determined by the participant's service coordinator including to and from client's appointments and activities.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have a passion for caring for those in need
  • Caregiving experience is preferred, but not required
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Have compassion for our clients, including seniors and/or those with disabilities
  • Must be a good communicator
  • Must be able to follow and complete a list of tasks within a given time period
  • Must be punctual and dependable
  • Must be self-motivated and have a professional, pleasant, positive, and helpful disposition
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Hold a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record
  • Have a smart phone and email account
  • Pass a drug screen and background check
  • Willing to take a TB test

Salary Description
Starting at $15 an hour
