Job Description
Madden Industrial Craftsmen , a premier staffing agency, is looking to fill an Industrial Maintenance Technician position with a manufacturing company located in Phoenix, AZ. The client specializes in custom heat exchanger coils, fluid coolers, and remote air-cooled condensers for OEM and replacement markets.
Pay Rate: $20-$25/hour
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift: 5:30AM-2PM(mandatory overtime as needed)
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems, CNC machines, extrusion equipment, and other production machinery
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment to minimize downtime
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on industrial equipment
  • Maintain and repair additional plant systems including 3-phase motors, cranes/hoists, air compressors, pumps, HVAC units, chillers, cooling towers, and exhaust systems
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and limited plumbing repairs as needed
  • Support equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades
  • Conduct equipment start-ups, shutdowns, and emergency repairs as required
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, PM records, and departmental documentation
  • Follow all OSHA and EPA safety standards , including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials
  • Assist with inventory control of maintenance parts and supplies
  • Provide guidance or training to operators on equipment operation and safety when needed

Maintenance Technician Requirements
  • Proven experience maintaining and repairing conveyors, CNC machines, and extrusion equipment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment
  • Must have own basic maintenance tools
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Hands-on knowledge of industrial electrical systems, mechanical systems, and pneumatics
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be able to pass a tape measure test
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen
