Job description

DC Power specialists, LLC is a family owned and operated business since 1991. The Alarm Technician position offers on-the-job training for the installation of alarming equipment for power distribution in the telecommunications industry. This work is indoors in a controlled climate enviornment, working in 2-3 man crews. You are able to move up the ladder quickly as our desire is to hire long term employees.
This position offers travel, mainly in the north and south east. Most jobs are 3-5 days in length, therefore, the workweek usually is; travel on Monday and back home on Friday. There are some instances where you would be out of town over the weekend but never more than two weeks out. No experience is necessary, however it is helpful to have some electrical knowledge. More so, a willingness to learn and grow with our company. We offer the IEC Apprenticeship program as well as it is our desire to increase knowledge in the electrical field. Our travel arrangement are very nice.
