Job description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Phlebotomist to join our medical team. As a Licensed Phlebotomist, your primary responsibility will be to draw blood from patients for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes.   • Greet and interact with patients
  • Verify patient identity and confirm the requisition orders before initiating the blood collection process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper disposal of biohazardous materials and adherence to infection control procedures.
  • Label and record specimens accurately, ensuring proper documentation of collected samples for tracking and testing purposes.
  • Handle and transport specimens appropriately to the laboratory, ensuring timely delivery for analysis.
  • Calibrate and maintain phlebotomy equipment, identifying and reporting any malfunctions or issues.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate specimen collection schedules and provide necessary support for patient care.
