What does a PhD researcher in user experience do?

A PhD researcher in User Experience (UX) investigates how people interact with digital products, services, or systems to improve their usability, accessibility, and overall satisfaction. Their work often involves conducting user studies, analyzing user behavior, and developing new theories or methods to enhance the user experience. They may also collaborate with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to apply their research findings in real-world applications. The goal is to advance the field of UX through original research and contribute to both academic knowledge and practical solutions.

How does a PhD researcher in user experience typically collaborate with product and engineering teams?

PhD Researchers in User Experience often work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure research insights are directly incorporated into product development.
