Title: Manager, SAW R&D Integration

Summary:

The Qorvo SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) R&D team is seeking a manager to oversee our process integration team as we advance the next generation of surface acoustic wave device development. This role involves leading a group of engineers working on multiple technology development projects aimed at enhancing device performance, reducing size, and lowering costs. Additionally, the manager will closely partner with technology experts to shape the future generation SAW roadmap.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the device integration team as they work to meet project goals and help implement innovative solutions to technical challenges
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers
  • Solve technical problems in a team environment
  • Design experiments to establish and optimize process challenges
  • Drive processes modules from development into high volume manufacturing executing project goals and managing risk through key milestone
  • Implement monitoring, controls and metrics for transition to high volume manufacturing

Qualifications:

  • MS in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or equivalent or PhD.
  • 6+ years direct experience in semiconductor research or manufacturing required (3+ years if PhD).
  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DoE)
  • Strong communication, presentation and collaboration skills required
  • Demonstrated problem-solving methods and experience
  • Experience with data analysis tools and techniques such as Matlab, Python, Spotfire or similar software packages
  • Scripting/programming experience preferred; SQL queries, data analysis scripting
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and windows-based software
  • Experience in project management software such as Wrike, MS Projects, etc.
