Job description

Hourly Pay Range:
$26.61 - $39.92 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights:
  • Position: Exercise Physiologist
  • Location: Highland Park
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Department is open 630a-530p
  • Schedule: M-F, 4 days per week (3- 10.5 hours and 1- 8.5 hours), Day off TBD (and may fluctuate).
  • No weekends or holidays

What you will need:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor of Science degree in an exercise science or a related field (e.g. Kinesiology or Physical Education). Emphasis in exercise physiology preferred.
    • No previous experience required but preferred.

  • Certifications:
    • Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (within 6 months of hire)

What you will do:
Develops, organizes and conducts individualized exercise programs for cardiac patients to improve cardiovascular fitness and encourage home-based exercise continuation. In doing so, develops exercise programs based on participants' needs, arranges logistics of classes, conducts programs and classes, monitors participant during programs, and provides participants with educational material.
