Job description

 Tetra Tech is looking for a Mid Level Environmental Scientist or Geologist to provide support for various environmental assessment/remediation projects. Work includes due diligence work, report preparation, and various environmental field work. Field work and travel is estimated to be 50%.  Capable of assuming responsibility for routine to complex tasks/projects. Experience in leading field crews is desirable. This position requires the employee to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.

Your Role :

   Assume lead and supporting technical role for projects.
   Report writing, generation of figures, tables, and database management.
   Perform Phase I and II ESAs.
   Perform Investigations at CERCLA, RCRA, and Petroleum sites.
   Collection of soil and water samples using various sampling techniques.
   Planning and coordinating directly with subcontractors and field personnel.
   Assume supporting roles in proposals and marketing.
   Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

   Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in geology or environmental science is required, Master's degree (MS/MA) a plus, but not required.
   5-7 years directly related professional experience and/or training in environmental assessment/remediation related work required.
   Munitions remediation experience, a plus.

   Candidate must possess and maintain a valid driver's license in excellent standing within the company standards.
   Candidates must be highly motivated, self-starters that want to establish a career in environmental consulting.
   Basic computer skills required, advanced skills desirable.
