About this opportunity:

The Ball State University Department of History is searching for a secondary social studies education instructor for the 2026-2027 school year. Our social studies teaching students are highly sought after for teaching positions after graduation.
The candidate will start in August, work on the main campus, and duties include placing field experiences and supervising student teachers, teaching classes in middle and high school social studies education, and providing leadership in campus, community, and regional school relations.
The search is open immediately and will close when filled. An ABD or MA/MS candidate would be considered.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
