Job Description Summary:

The Department of Curriculum and Instruction is recruiting a pool of persons for the Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026 semesters to be considered for possible adjunct teaching positions in the elementary education, secondary education, ESL/bilingual education, and special education programs.

Job Description:

Required qualifications:

Successful completion of a terminal degree in education or related field or qualifications matching those enumerated in the Faculty Qualifications Manual for Alternate Methods of Qualifying Faculty to Teach.

Preferred qualifications:

College/university teaching experience in education, higher education, or related field.


Position responsibilities include:
1. Fulfill all aspects of the designated course outline
2. Grade assignments and exams in a timely manner
3. Respond to student inquiries in a timely manner
4. Submit final grades according to the School of Education policy
