Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Independently lead and execute analytics initiatives using healthcare prescriber/provider, account-level, sub-national script, specialty pharmacy, claims, and promotional data.
  • Support sales teams with structured/ad hoc analyses, dashboards, and reports to enable commercial decision-making.
  • Serve as primary analytics partner to VP/Head of Sales and regional leaders; track performance vs sales strategies.
  • Monitor and validate performance metrics; identify trends, opportunities/gaps, and communicate insights with data visualization.
  • Design and implement data models and create visualizations for sales performance monitoring.
  • Deliver data-driven recommendations and communicate insights via clear business narratives.
  • Facilitate nation/area/regional sales review meetings; support Field Sales coaching and analytics for NFM/POA meetings.
  • Collaborate with Business Operations and external vendors on data curation, operations, and reporting.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • Bachelorโ€™s (10+ years) or Masterโ€™s/PhD (8+ years) experience.
  • Pharma/biotech/healthcare experience; strong life sciences commercial data knowledge (claims, prescriber/non-prescriber, affiliations, sales operations) and systems (SFDC, Veeva, CRM).
  • Preferred: experience working with field sales.
  • Experience delivering measurable analytic solutions; strong critical thinking and data accuracy.
  • Tools: SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, QuickBase, VBA; MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written/oral communication, stakeholder/vendor partnership, project management, interpersonal skills; works well in fast-paced matrix environments.
Compensation and Benefits (as stated):
  • Salary range: National $160,000โ€“$194,000; Premium Markets (SFBA/NYC/Boston) $180,000โ€“$214,000.
  • Eligible for annual bonus and equity incentive awards (not commission-based); comprehensive benefits (medical/dental/vision, life/disability, FSA, 401(k), PTO, paid holidays).
