Pharmacist in Charge- Relocation Assistance Available!!
Monday-Friday -9:00AM-5:30PM
Pharmacy will close for lunch-12:30PM-1:00PM

Primary Role: Preparing and dispensing appropriate pharmaceuticals to patients, leading a team of pharmacy technicians and managing the overall day-to day pharmacy responsibilities. The job entails a high level of responsibility and knowledge.
Essential Job Functions:
Review and execute provider's prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality.
Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster.
Maintain full control over medication inventory, stocking and labeling medicine and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration.
Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice.
Prepare medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patient.
Maintain patient profiles and history of all activities regarding medications dispensed.
Keep abreast and stay current with HIPAA and Frauds Waste and Abuse credentialing.
Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures.
Responsible for ensuring that the Pharmacy and its employees are compliant with Federal, State and Local laws regulated.
Ensures that the Pharmacy and its employees are aware and compliant with local facilities policies.
Responsible for directing the daily work of Pharmacy Technicians, this includes providing input into performance evaluations and advising Senior Management of any behavioral and/or performance issues.
Responsible for managing the Pharmacy Technicians schedules. This includes advising Senior Management of any request for leave of absences or medical accommodations.
Required Education & Skills:
PharmD is required for this role.
Current License to practice (PharmD) in Illinois
Excellent oral, written skills
Experience:
Must have previous experience working within retail pharmacy environment.
Must be able to utilize Patient Management System in the Pharmacy.
Min 3-5 years retail pharmacy manager experience.
Physical Requirements:
Standing for prolong periods of time
Use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
