Job description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A leadership opportunity is available for a seasoned professional to serve as Director of Pharmacy in an acute care inpatient hospital setting. This direct hire role is located in the vibrant Evanston, IL area and requires strong clinical and operational pharmacy expertise combined with proven management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission and CMS standards.
  • Manage a diverse team of approximately 20 pharmacy staff, including full-time, part-time, and PRN employees.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize pharmacy services and improve patient outcomes.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to community health, particularly in serving underserved patient populations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support pharmacy initiatives aligned with hospital goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Pharmacist License in good standing (mandatory, with disclosure of all active/inactive licenses).
