Job description

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Aurora, CO ! The Pharmacy Technician will be working for a respected healthcare organization and has career growth potential. See additional details below.

Pharmacy Technician Highlights Pay: $21.24/hour Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, 8:00 AMโ€“6:00 PM (40 hours/week) Onsite: 100% onsite Employment Type: W2 Temporary (approx. 6 months with possible extension up to a year) Worksite: Aurora, CO 80045 (candidates must be in/around Aurora, CO) Responsibilities Provide professional phone assistance to members, providers, and other callers. Transfer all clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist.

Support the prior authorization process (criteria-based), including accurate documentation of approvals/denials. Perform data entry and assist with prescription processing/filling and shipping medications. Assist walk-in patients as needed.

Support other pharmacy/site functions as directed by the site leader. Requirements Colorado Pharmacy Technician license (state license) required (provisional license acceptable per state guidelines, if applicable) At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience Verifiable High School Diploma or GED Strong customer service skills (written and verbal) Advanced computer skills (word processing and spreadsheets) Preferred National Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred, not required) High-volume call center/customer service experience (healthcare or social services a plus) Benefits Available Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment. A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
