Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Operations Support you will:
  • Administrative support for pharmacy management: Performs a wide range of general administrative duties to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Payroll and scheduling assistance: Supports payroll-related tasks, including timekeeping, scheduling, and attendance tracking.
  • Personnel file maintenance: Sets up, organizes, and maintains employee personnel records in alignment with company policies and compliance standards.
  • Productivity reporting support: Assists pharmacy leadership by preparing, reviewing, and distributing productivity and performance reports.
  • Workflow monitoring and staff coordination: Collaborates with the Pharmacist and Pharmacy Tech Supervisor to monitor workflow, reassign technicians and support staff, and ensure timely delivery launches.
  • Order tracking and issue resolution: Monitors incomplete orders, researches discrepancies, and ensures timely completion and delivery.
  • Operational coverage as needed: Provides backup support in roles such as Pharmacy Technician, Data Entry, or Distribution Coordinator when required.
  • Audit response and documentation: Responds to audit requests, gathers required documentation, and verifies prescription accuracy against manifests.
  • Record maintenance and compliance: Works with management to maintain, organize, and store prescription records in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Special project support: Assists with various projects and initiatives as assigned by pharmacy leadership.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Education / Learning Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (This establishes the baseline educational requirement.)
Work Experience
  • Prior related experience (Experience in pharmacy operations, administrative support, or a similar environment is typically applicable.)
Skills / Knowledge
  • Proficiency with Windows-based software programs (Includes navigating common applications, basic troubleshooting, and using productivity tools.)
Licenses / Certifications
  • Desired: Pharmacy Technician License
