Description

Seeking an experienced Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst to support the ongoing optimization, maintenance, and enhancement of its Epic inpatient pharmacy application. The analyst will work closely with pharmacy operations, clinical stakeholders, and IT teams to ensure the Epic Willow Inpatient module supports safe, efficient, and compliant medication management workflows across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the design, build, testing, implementation, and optimization of the Epic Willow Inpatient application.

Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into Epic solutions.

Analyze and troubleshoot application issues, workflow concerns, and system defects.

Configure and maintain medication records, order sets, dispensing workflows, and pharmacy-related functionality within Epic Willow Inpatient.

Support integrated workflows involving Epic ASAP, Orders, ClinDoc, Beacon, and medication dispensing systems.

Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and change management activities.

Develop and execute unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing plans.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards.

Provide end-user support, workflow recommendations, and application training as needed.

Collaborate with third-party vendors and technical teams regarding pharmacy automation and dispensing technologies.

Required Qualifications:

Active Epic Willow Inpatient Certification (Required).

3-5+ years of experience supporting Epic applications in a healthcare environment.

Experience with Epic Willow Inpatient build, maintenance, and optimization.

Healthcare IT, clinical informatics, or hospital pharmacy experience.

Strong understanding of inpatient pharmacy workflows and medication management processes.

Experience supporting integrated medication dispensing systems and pharmacy automation technologies.

Ability to troubleshoot complex application and workflow issues.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience participating in Epic implementation, upgrade, or optimization projects.
