Job description

Job Title: Sr Project Manager- Pharmacy Data & Analytics

Location: Deerfield, IL

Duration: 6 Months

JOB SUMMARY:

  • We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee the successful transition of approximately 40+ projects within the Data and analytics portfolio (Domain—pharmacy).
  • This role requires hands-on project execution, proactive issue resolution, and end-to-end transition oversight. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, execution-focused, and capable of operating in a highly cross-functional environment while managing complex program dependencies.
  • Strong experience in managing third-party vendors and cross-functional teams is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Validate Transition Plans: Ensure all project-level transition plans are complete, executable, and aligned with key stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate coordination across all required partner teams to maintain alignment and accountability throughout the transition.
  • Execution Oversight: Provide detailed day-to-day oversight of transition activities, ensuring tasks progress as planned.
  • Clear Tracking of Deliverables & Cross-Functional Communication: Create and maintain dashboard and/or spreadsheets (Gantt charts, RACI, raid logs) to track progress of key transition deliverables such as documentation, estimation readiness, and definition of ways of working.
  • To be shared cross-functionally so that all stakeholders are aligned.
  • Proactively communicate status to stakeholders.
  • Escalate any risks or delays to timelines clearly and promptly to avoid downstream impacts
  • Budget Management: Monitor and report on budget vs. forecast vs. actuals. Drive financial discipline and accurate forecasting.
  • Issue Management: Track and drive the resolution of issues raised during the transition phase, ensuring closure within defined timelines.
  • Third-Party Vendor Oversight: Manage relationships, deliverables, and performance of external vendors critical to the transition effort.
  • Agile Methodologies - Experience with Agile development methodologies and driving process improvement.
  • Tool Proficiency: Comfortable and experienced with tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, and Confluence.
  • Able to effectively use them to track work and backlogs, document deliverables, and support cross-functional collaboration.
