Job description

Pharmaceutical Warehouse Operator
Shift: 1st shift
Location: Tampa, FL
Join Lonza as a Pharmaceutical Warehouse Operator and play a vital role in ensuring safe, accurate, and compliant material handling within our state-of-the-art pharmaceutical warehouse. In this hands-on role, you'll directly support the production and distribution of life-changing therapies that improve lives around the world.

Compensation for this role will be determined by the candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and relevant knowledge.
What you will do
  • Support import storage, material receipt, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure smooth and compliant operations.
  • Maintain accurate production, inventory, and distribution records in accordance with SOPs and Good Documentation Practices.
  • Receive, store, dispense, and issue materials, in-process products, and finished goods while following all controlled procedures.
  • Operate warehouse equipment-including forklifts and transport vehicles-to safely move and coordinate materials.
  • Identify and report issues, deviations, errors, or opportunities for improvement to management in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Uphold all safety, PPE, and sustainability requirements, and stop work when necessary to maintain a safe environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and support functions to ensure accurate inventory, clean workspaces, and compliant handling of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

What we are looking for
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; training must be current prior to performing assigned tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for extended periods, and wear required PPE during dispensing and warehouse activities.
  • Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment; valid Florida driver's license in good standing.
  • Strong adherence to compliance standards, documentation accuracy, and Good Documentation Practices.
  • Ability to inspect, verify, label, and coordinate materials to ensure proper inventory flow and quality standards.
  • Experience performing cycle counts, data entry in ERP systems, and verifying incoming/outgoing shipments preferred.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail to support cross-functional operations.
