Job Description

Implement the Marketing programs in the territory achieving the Sales objectives. Shift and gain market share for the products promoted, by performing the following duties observing and enforcing the Corporate Ethical Business Practices and other company policies.

Major Activities and Responsibilities

1. Communicate with physicians and administrative personnel, either individually or in groups to influence the use of company products, which will be prescribed as indicated.

2. Demonstrates the highest level of product and disease knowledge, territory savvy and overall proficiency that can reasonably be expected in carrying out their responsibilities.

3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across assigned accounts.

4. Conduct product presentations and value-based discussions to support access and adoption according to company Product label and approved messages.

5. Achieves approved monthly sales objective of the assigned territory consistent with the sales performance.

6. Collaborate cross-functionally to align account strategy with business goals.

7. Provide customer insights to improve offerings and enhance customer experience.

8. Manage all-island territory across Puerto Rico and maintain regular engagement with customers. Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel throughout the entire territory as required.

9. Develop comprehensive account plans, identifying business opportunities and objectives. Monitor account performance according to established KPIs. Evaluate and manage risks associated with account strategies and plans. Present account strategies and performance updates to senior management.

10. Identify and analyze account stakeholders and their perspectives on our company and competitors. Gather and analyze market intelligence to identify trends and opportunities.

11. Plans and organizes activities: Field Facilitated Meeting (FFM) and Speaker Facilitated Meeting (SFM) within the territory based on analysis and opportunities.

12. Prepares and submits required reports related to sales and promotional activities in the territory.

Background Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.

  • Two (2) years of recent experience in oncology-related pharmaceutical sales

  • Minimum five (5) years of pharmaceutical sales experience.

  • Strong understanding of the local healthcare environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Self-motivated with strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, VEEVA, SAP, Power BI, and iPad-based tools.

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in Spanish and English.

  • Willingness to travel throughout all of Puerto Rico territory.

  • Candidate needs to be able to drive a company car and have a valid driver's license.

  • Knowledge of biomarkers and molecular science preferred.
