Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist - Days (Monday-Friday)
Location: Laredo, Texas
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Interview Type: Virtual Interviews
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Pay Range: $114,400 - $158,080
  • Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
  • Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Weekend Coverage: Required every 3rd weekend
  • Relocation Assistance: Available for eligible candidates
About the Role:
We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join a dynamic pharmacy team in a busy acute care hospital environment. The pharmacy department is located within a 326-bed acute care facility and operates in a secure setting. This position offers stability, career development, and the opportunity to work in a supportive, professional atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safe, effective, and cost-efficient use of medications
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication records
  • Monitor patient response to drug therapies and adjust treatment as needed
  • Participate in pharmacy clinical initiatives and compliance reviews
Required Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of one (1) year of hospital clinical pharmacy experience
  • Active license to practice Pharmacy in the State of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • A.C.P.E. accredited I.V. Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completion of a PGY-1 residency in an acute care setting
  • PGY-1/PGY-2 residency in a hospital pharmacy
  • Board certification(s):
    • BCOP (Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist)
    • BCPS (Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist)
