Job Summary:

Panelmatic Field Service Operations is seeking a detail-oriented experienced Field Service Project Manager. The FS PM plans and develops Field Service installation, modification, and repair projects. They create and lead the team, monitor project progress, set deadlines, solve issues that arise, manage the financial impact of the project, ensure customer satisfaction, and evaluate project performance, including the performance of their team members.

Requirements

  • Manage multiple projects from Field Service Project Creation to customer final acceptance.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely mobilization of field personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Coordinate project handoff from Manufacturing Operations to Field Service Operations, ensuring all documentation and technical information are complete and accurate.
  • Act as the primary contact between the customer and the organization to maintain existing customer relationships and drive customer satisfaction while meeting business objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks or delays, proactively implementing corrective actions.
  • Initiate and lead the customer site coordination and/or project kickoff meetings.
  • Communicate project status, timelines, and milestones with customers and internal teams.
  • Ensure that all project documentation—such as work orders, service reports, change orders, and closeout packages is completed accurately and submitted promptly.
  • Work closely with Field Service Management to forecast manpower and resource allocation across multiple projects.
  • Document and communicate the scope and deliverables to FS leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Validate project terms, conditions, and commercial viability prior to FS project creation.
  • Establish and maintain ERP Bill of Material for each project
  • Prepare or oversee the preparation of contractual invoicing, pursue timely payments from the customer, and authorize payments for major buys to suppliers and subcontractors
  • Obtain formal acceptance from the Customer for all contractual deliverables
  • Ensure completion of project closeout activities.
  • Maintain accountability for the commercial success, customer satisfaction, and delivery of the FS project.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three plus years of experience in an electrical role or industry required
  • Three plus years of experience in Field Service activities required
  • Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills required
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required
  • Growth mindset with the ability to accept challenges required
  • Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required
  • Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more required
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time required
  • Alignment with company core values required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA or BS in Business, Engineering, or Project Management preferred – or equivalent relevant experience
  • Two years or more of experience in project management in a Field Service operation preferred
  • PMP preferred
