Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a CAPEX Project Manager who is responsible for key strategic innovation and portfolio projects oversee all aspects of project execution; sets deadlines, track responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress. Project Managers plan, execute, and control a project or set of related projects to meet identified business requirements and deliver business value, through acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources
Role accountabilities:
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
  • Proactively analyze variances against plan to assess trends threatening agreed scope, time, cost, and quality commitments
  • Align expectations and ensure that the decision-making of stakeholders happens in a timely and effective manner
  • Mobilize and lead teams composed of a mixture of staff and suppliers across organizational boundaries
  • Responsible for coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects.
  • Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specification and best practices
  • Reviews, approves and provides necessary documentation for invoicing in a timely manner
  • Performs other related duties as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required, Engineering degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
