As the QuickSTAT National Air Logistics Healthcare Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role in overseeing healthcare air logistics operations across the network. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, financial performance, compliance, and employee engagement while leading a team dedicated to delivering best-in-class service in highly regulated and time-critical environments.

How you create impact
  • Lead and manage national healthcare air logistics operations, ensuring exceptional service, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance across a complex and time-critical network.
  • Oversee end-to-end logistics activities, including imports, exports, transportation, customer service, shipment monitoring, and exception management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare, pharmaceutical, and life sciences customers while ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations.
  • Drive operational and financial performance through effective management of KPIs, service levels, budgets, forecasting, and P&L accountability.
  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams, creating a culture of engagement, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop staffing strategies, workforce plans, and training programs to support business growth and operational requirements.
  • Analyze operational trends and performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement, productivity gains, and enhanced customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare, transportation, quality, safety, health, environmental (QSHE), GDP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with commercial, customer success, and operational teams to support customer retention, account growth, and new business opportunities.
  • Lead change initiatives, business continuity planning, and operational improvement projects that support long-term organizational success.
What we would like you to bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, supply chain, or healthcare logistics operations.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience managing teams, supervisors, managers, and cross-functional operations.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, clinical trial, temperature-controlled, or other highly regulated logistics environments.
  • Proven experience managing national, regional, or multi-site logistics operations.
  • Strong operational knowledge of domestic and international air freight, customs procedures, transportation regulations, and healthcare logistics requirements.
  • Experience managing strategic customer relationships and delivering results in complex, customer-focused environments.
  • Demonstrated success managing budgets, forecasting, productivity initiatives, and P&L performance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with experience leveraging KPIs and operational reporting to drive results.
  • Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS), logistics technology platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Healthcare Administration.
  • IATA Dangerous Goods Certification.
  • GDP (Good Distribution Practice) training or certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Experience within global freight forwarding, healthcare logistics, specialty transportation, or time-critical logistics organizations.
  • Experience supporting clinical trials, cell and gene therapies, biologics, or other specialized healthcare supply chains.
