Ensures adequate levels of material and/or product inventories are maintained. Responsible for evaluating inventory needs and implementing strategies to meet t**Essential Job Functions***The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent **may perform some or all** of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.** Implements inventory management strategies to assure company objectives in the areas of safety, productivity, quality, customer service, cost and profitability* Directs staffing, training, and performance management to develop and improve inventory management function* Manages and tracks product inventories, providing direction on work in process, finished goods and aged inventories to assure financial reconciliation and inventory integrity* Directs and prioritizes the daily activities including job packet review, cycle counts, audits, damaged material management, and waste tracking and disposal* Drives continuous improvement initiatives for inventory management process and information flow* Prepares and reviews required business reports**Education & Experience*** High School Diploma or Equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred* Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience required**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities*** Knowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processes* Knowledge of strategies and tools for controlling and optimizing the factors that lie between the purchase of raw materials and delivery of finished products* Ability to effectively manage the business relationship and transactions with the suppliers of raw materials or product components* Knowledge of issues and considerations for effectively managing local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work in progress and finished goods* Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the manufacturing cycle* Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility**Physical Requirements & Work Environment*** Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office setting* Frequent walking and standing required* Occasional travel required* Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.**Two companies, one vision.**Menasha Corporation consists of two companies that are leading the way to a sustainable future with packaging and supply chain solutions.
