Job description

HALDEY Pharmaceutical, a 503A sterile and non-sterile compounding pharmacy is hiring a full-time certified pharmacy technician with active (verifiable CPhT and NYS Registration) to work in its state of the art pharmaceutical laboratories and join its highly motivated team. This is a Monday–Friday position with no weekends — perfect for candidates living in or commuting from **Westchester County, Eastchester, Yonkers, White Plains, or Scarsdale** who are looking for a consistent, well-paying compounding pharmacy role close to home. Pharmacy technician experience, ability to multi-task, prioritize and a strong work ethic are required. Scientific or Compounding Pharmacy Laboratory experience preferred and a major plus. You will have the opportunity to work in non-sterile and sterile clean room and laboratory environments, and front-end direct patient engagement.

Responsibilities :

Assist pharmacists in compounding sterile and non-sterile medications

Assist in keeping the Pharmacy neat and clean by caring for equipment and cleaning after compounding.

Assist in dispensing, labeling, organizing and preparing for pharmacist final verification of compounded sterile and non-sterile medications

Help in packing the medications into the final bags and boxes for shipping.

Maintain compliance and adhere to USP <795> ,USP<797>and <800> protocols.

Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and company policies.

Perform drug inventory management, including ordering, receiving, entering in the system and storing as per storage requirements.

Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff and pharmacist to coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the implementation of best practices.

Performs any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the pharmacist.

The Qualifications and Skills You Need:·

  • Ideally, active Pharmacy Technician registration by the state of New York.
  • Required active PTCB/CPhT License (PTCB.org)·
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalency required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years minimum experience in sterile compounding pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, or retail pharmacy is a major plus.
  • Proven team leadership, customer service, and exceptional communication skills.
