Your Role:  

As a Key Account Manager, Critical Care, you'll play a pivotal role in building relationships and driving business across Thrombosis, Hematology, Internal Medicine, and key Hospital and Health Authority networks. You will make a significant contribution to the success of our Patient Solutions Critical Care Division by leveraging LEO resources to maximize sales at target Hospitals, Provincial Authorities, and at the retail level.

This role is responsible for developing and leveraging indepth relationships with hospitalbased healthcare professionals and key decisionmakers to secure, protect, and expand institutional formulary access. 

This is a field-based role, covering our Quebec East territory. 

Your Responsibilities:  

Key Account Planning 

  • Recognized as a trusted advisor by Health Care decision makers within Canadian Healthcare Organizations and will be the lead negotiator in winning Institutional contracts.
  • Develop cross-functional, customer-focused account plans with internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Promote innohep to specialists-including Thrombosis experts, Hematologists, Internists, Hospital Pharmacists, and Nurse Practitioners. 
  • Collaborate with BI and Manager to develop specific plan of action against targeted HCPs and other stakeholders.  

  • Use business analytics skills to analyze data and to develop and/or adapt tactics and strategy against top accounts or specific HCPs. 

  • Uncover key value drivers across Canadian Healthcare Organizations. 

Account Implementation 

  • Record calls against targeted HCPs and other stakeholders in the LEO CRM (SalesForce / Veeva) as per approved plan of action. 

  • Navigate P&T members and stakeholders to influence key decisions. 

  • Maintain, protect and gain innohep formulary listings while negotiating hospital and GPO buying group contracts as part of the XF team. 

  • Understand competitive dynamics, industry trends, and healthcare system evolution. 

  • Build differentiated offerings that strategically advance patient care and institutional goals. 

  • Leverage internal resources (medical, marketing, market access, BI, finance) and external collaborations. 

Customer Value Creation 

  • Pursue mutually beneficial initiatives to gain competitive advantage within the LMWH drug class. 

Additional Responsibilities 

  • Support territory business planning and execution of CMEs, OLAs, and educational initiatives. 

  • Maintain strong clinical, product, and competitive knowledge while sharing insights with HO and cross-functional teams. 

  • Achieve sales objectives, market share growth, and key performance metrics. 

  • Complete administrative tasks, expense reporting, and CRM documentation accurately and on time. 

Your Qualifications:  

  • University Degree with proven ability and motivation to learn AND relay medical and business related information pertaining to CA disease state. 

  • 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales working mainly with specialists in a hospital setting - experience with complex injectable products an asset. 

  • Established relationships with hospital decision makers, i.e. Pharmacy Directors, Chief Pharmacist, KEEs, other stakeholders.

  • French fluency is required, with sufficient English proficiency to effectively collaborate within the Canadian affiliate. 
  • Deep knowledge of formulary processes, and both hospital and retail reimbursement landscapes. 

  • Strong business acumen, analytics capabilities, and MS Office proficiency. 

  • Proven ability to craft and execute strategic plans over multi-year horizons. 

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently. 

  • Comfortable with physical requirements (carrying materials, extended periods standing/sitting). 

  • Strong behavioural competencies in stakeholder focus, negotiation, innovation, communication, and strategic agility.

Compensation:  

The base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000 per year. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the LEO Pharma range for this position. Salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.

Vous contribuerez de maniere significative au succes de notre division Patient Solutions - Soins critiques, en tirant parti des ressources de LEO afin de maximiser les ventes aupres des hopitaux cibles, des autorites provinciales et du secteur de la vente au detail.

Ce role consiste a developper et a exploiter des relations approfondies avec des professionnels de la sante en milieu hospitalier et des decideurs cles, dans le but de securiser, proteger et elargir l'acces institutionnel aux formulaires.

Ce poste est base sur le terrain et couvre le territoire de l'Est du Quebec.

Planification des comptes cles

  • Reconnu(e) comme conseiller(ere) de confiance aupres des decideurs du systeme de sante au sein des organisations de sante canadiennes et chef de file des negociations pour l'obtention de contrats institutionnels.

  • Elaborer des plans de comptes transversaux, centres sur le client, en collaboration avec les parties prenantes internes et externes.

  • Promouvoir innohep aupres des specialistes, notamment les experts en thrombose, les hematologues, les internistes, les pharmaciens hospitaliers et les infirmier(ere)s praticien(ne)s.

  • Collaborer avec l'equipe BI et le ou la gestionnaire afin d'elaborer des plans d'action cibles aupres des professionnels de la sante (HCP) et d'autres parties prenantes cles.

  • Utiliser des competences en analyse commerciale pour analyser les donnees et developper ou adapter les tactiques et strategies aupres des comptes prioritaires ou de professionnels de la sante cibles.

  • Identifier et comprendre les principaux leviers de creation de valeur au sein des organisations de soins de sante canadiennes.

Mise en uvre des comptes

  • Maintenir, proteger et elargir les inscriptions au formulaire d'innohep, tout en negociant des contrats hospitaliers et des contrats avec des groupes d'achats (GPO) dans le cadre de l'equipe interfonctionnelle (XF).
  • Comprendre les dynamiques concurrentielles, les tendances du marche et l'evolution du systeme de sante.
  • Developper des offres differenciees soutenant a la fois l'amelioration des soins aux patients et les objectifs institutionnels.
  • Tirer parti des ressources internes (affaires medicales, marketing, acces au marche, BI, finances) et des collaborations externes.

Creation de valeur pour les clients

  • Soutenir la planification commerciale territoriale et l'execution des CMEs, OLAs et initiatives educatives.

Qualifications requises :

  • Diplome universitaire avec une capacite demontree a apprendre et a transmettre des informations medicales et commerciales liees a l'etat pathologique (CA).
  • 7 ans et plus d'experience en vente pharmaceutique, principalement aupres de specialistes en milieu hospitalier.
  • L'experience avec des produits injectables complexes constitue un atout.Relations etablies avec des decideurs hospitaliers (directeurs de pharmacie, chefs pharmaciens, KEE, autres parties prenantes).
  • Maitrise du francais obligatoire, avec une connaissance suffisante de l'anglais pour collaborer efficacement au sein de l'affilie canadien.Connaissance approfondie des processus de formulaires et des environnements de remboursement hospitalier et au detail.
  • Solides competences en gestion d'affaires, analyse de donnees, et excellente maitrise de MS Office.
  • Capacite eprouvee a elaborer et executer des plans strategiques pluriannuels.Permis de conduire valide et disponibilite a voyager frequemment.
