Job Description

We are looking for a Client Executive to join our team, focused on the Pharma Segment. As a Client Executive you'll identify new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. Your work will involve careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets, enhancing the operation of the business and our positioning in the market. The role, reporting to VP Business Development, will be part of a growing team.

Key Responsibilities

Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning

  • Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of RetinAI's evolving software and services portfolio to confidently advise and educate prospective clients.
  • Actively research, map, and update intelligence on target organizations across eye-care-focused Pharma, Biotech, and CRO segments.
  • Identify new market opportunities and adjacent segments, setting clear long-term business development objectives.

Pipeline & Deal Generation

  • Proactively identify and engage key decision-makers within target organizations using personal networks, industry databases, and cold outreach.
  • Analyze prospect workflows and clinical needs to develop and deliver highly compelling, tailored solution pitches (remotely and in-person).
  • Lead the commercial proposal process, collaborating closely with internal legal and operational teams to draft and finalize client contracts.

Account Management & Internal Collaboration

  • Partner with Customer Success, Research, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and a successful project kick-off.
  • Foster and deepen senior-level client relationships, ensuring high customer satisfaction to expand accounts from project-based deals to long-term enterprise partnerships.

Requirements

Education & Core Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field; an MBA or PhD is a strong plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, client executive roles, or management consulting, with a preference for fast-paced scale-up environments.
  • A proven track record of consultative sales within Ophthalmology Pharma, Biotech, MedTech, or Clinical Research Organizations (CROs).
  • Experience managing complex, multi-divisional, and multi-geographical client accounts, including healthcare environments (clinics and hospitals).

Technical & Operational Skills

  • Domain knowledge in digital health, health IT, or software platforms, with a strong technical aptitude and a passion for technology.
  • Demonstrated success working alongside cross-functional internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product Development.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous environments by creating structure, designing workflows, and implementing effective new processes.
