Job description

As the Engineering Manager - New Product & Process Development, you'll lead a team responsible for bringing new products and manufacturing processes to life-from concept through launch. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll shape the future of our wheel-end product lines by driving innovation, collaborating across the organization, and ensuring successful execution of new product and process initiatives.
This role reports to the Director of Engineering. If you enjoy leading teams, building strategy, and turning ideas into real-world results, this role offers a strong opportunity to make a lasting impact.
What You'll Do:
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of new products and processes-from concept to commercialization
  • Drive innovation in wheel-end components and manufacturing methods
  • Ensure successful product launches that meet customer and business needs
  • Establish program goals, timelines, and resource plans
  • Track progress against key milestones and proactively manage risks
  • Continuously improve the product development process
  • Partner with commercial, operations, supply chain, and engineering teams
  • Gather voice-of-customer (VOC) insights to shape product and process strategy
  • Engage with customers and industry organizations (e.g., TMC, SAE)
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of engineers
  • Build team capability through development plans, skills matrices, and performance feedback
  • Foster a strong, collaborative, and accountable team environment
  • Provide clear updates on program status, risks, and opportunities
  • Present technical concepts and business cases to leadership and stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment across cross-functional teams

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar technical field)
  • 5+ years of experience leading technical teams or engineering functions
  • 5+ years of experience in project management within new product/process development
  • Experience working with suppliers and quality systems (ISO standards)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Experience in the commercial vehicle or wheel-end industry
  • Familiarity with seal design
  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks
