SUMMARY
The Clinical Pharmacist works in the patient care areas. Competent in reviewing and evaluation of medication orders for appropriate pharmacotherapy in the following age groups of patients: Neonatal, Pediatric, Adult and Geriatric. Demonstrate the ability to communicate with nursing staff and physicians to resolve and prevent drug related problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Doctorate of Pharmacy degree plus 1 year post-Phar.D. experience
  • ASHP accredited Residency in pharmacy practice or Doctor of Pharmacy degree at least 5 years of post-Phar.D. experience in job-related pharmacy practice, or Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy at least 6 years experience in job-related pharmacy practice at GHS
  • Fully licensed as a Pharmacist in the State of Georgia or, eligible for full licensure within 90 days through reciprocity or exam
