What You Will Do

The PGIM Real Estate Loan Services team is looking for a Senior Tax Servicing Specialist. In this role, you'll help ensure the smooth administration of property tax obligations across PGIM Real Estate's loan portfolio, supporting the accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence that our clients and investors rely on. You'll play a key role in managing tax-related processes, identifying issues before they become risks, and helping ensure loan servicing activities are completed efficiently and accurately.

You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across Loan Services, Insurance, Operations, and third-party vendors in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role combines analytical work, problem-solving, and cross-functional partnership, giving you the opportunity to build relationships while making a measurable impact on portfolio performance and servicing quality.

This position is based in one of our offices in Dallas, TX and will follow a hybrid schedule (3 days in office). Our organization follows a hybrid work structure ( 3 days in office) where employees can work remotely and/ from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration

What You Can Expect

  • Ensure the accurate and timely payment of ad valorem real estate taxes.

  • Ensure compliance of all state, federal and investor requirements.

  • Conduct review of loan documents on all new loans to ensure all parcels are correctly captured in all vendor systems.

  • Engage Third Party Tax vendor to set up parcels for new loans.

  • Run delinquent or Bill not Paid reports weekly and research loans/parcel, as needed.

  • Process escrow analysis, for all loans at a minimum of once a year to ensure tax and insurance constants are being accurately captured.

  • Process refunds to Borrowers when an overage occurs.

  • Pull requests for internal and external audit, as needed.

  • Maintain an open line of communication with tax service for unresolved inquiries.

  • Update Third Party Tax company for any property substitutions

  • Update policies and procedures, as any process changes occur.

  • Advise management of status of work, unresolved escalated items and/or potential risk/exposure issues.

  • Pull "outstanding escrow analysis" report on a monthly basis, and work with Insurance team to update report, so escrow analysis can be run/updated.

  • Assist the insurance team, as needed.

What You Will Bring

  • Experience working with ad valorem real estate taxes, loan servicing, escrow administration, or a related function.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess information and make informed decisions.

  • Understanding of loan documentation, servicing processes, or real estate finance concepts.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently while collaborating effectively with others.

What Will Set You Apart

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Experience in commercial real estate, commercial mortgage servicing, or insurance-related operations.

  • Familiarity with investor reporting, servicing agreements, or complex loan structures.

Note: Prudential is required by state-specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $65,000 to $80,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
