Role Summary

TheSpecialty Care -GIHealth & Science Specialistis a field-based specialty sales role responsible for drivingthe launch and growth of GI productsthroughcompliant, strategic relationships within assigned accounts. This role partners with Therapeutic Area Specialists and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to execute effective promotional strategies, support formulary access, and deliverhighimpactcustomer engagement.TheSpecialty Care - GI Health & Science Representativeleverages strong sales acumen,productanddiseasestateexpertise, and a structured approach toinpersonengagement while collaborating withcrossfunctionalteams to achieve businessobjectives.

RoleResponsibilities

  • Drive customer engagement and sales performance through effective inperson interactions.

  • Build strong, compliant relationships with HCPs and office staff across assigned accounts.

  • Deliver approved promotional and diseasestate messaging to supportappropriate productuse.

  • Leverage product, disease, and market knowledge toidentifyopportunities and prioritize accounts.

  • Support patient access by providing information on reimbursement, hubs, and copay resources.

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional partners to address customer needs and advance businessobjectives.

  • Use digital tools and insights to plan, execute, andoptimizeterritory activities.

Basic Qualifications

Education:Bachelor'sdegree

  • OR anassociate's degreewith 8+ years ofworkexperience

  • OR ahighschool diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years ofworkexperience.

Work Experience:Minimum of 3 years in one or more of the following:

  • Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales

  • Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device marketing

  • Aligned therapeutic specific healthcare provider experience

Driver's Licensing Requirement

  • ValidUS driver's license and driving record in compliance with company standards.

  • Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of specialty sales experience, preferably inGastroenterology, immunology, or inflammation

  • Strong understanding of complex disease states, biologics, and specialty reimbursementand distribution process

  • Experience engaging key opinion leaders and high-influence accounts

  • Demonstrated business acumen, data-driven decision making, and strategic thinking

  • Strong digital engagement capability (e.g., Veeva Engage,Teams) and comfort in hybrid selling models

Work Location & Travel Requirements

  • This role isfieldbasedand requires the colleague toresidewithin a workable distance of all points of business within the assigned territory to effectively meet business needs.

  • Determination of workable distance will be made based on business requirements and leadership discretion.

  • Ability to travel to all accounts/office locations within territory

  • Depending on size of territory and business need, candidates maybe requiredto stay overnightasnecessary

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $108,600 - $250,700.During initial new hire sales training, you will be classified as a salary non-exempt employee which entitles you to overtime pay. Upon your training certification, you will become an overtime exempt employee.In addition, this position offers an additional Sales Incentive bonus.
