Job description

Katherine Landing Hospitality LLC, dba Katherine Landing-Employment at Katherine Landing, located in Lake Mead National Recreation Area, is a rewarding opportunity that allows you to enjoy the beautiful desert landscape and lake views while helping visitors make the most of their outdoor experiences. We are seeking talented, customer focused associates to join us for the 2026 season.
Summary: Perform a variety of accounting and moorage tasks in a timely and accurate manner, function effectively as part of an accounting and moorage teams by demonstrating the ability and willingness to achieve department goals while remaining in compliance with all policies and procedures.
Accounting:
  • Verify vault counts daily, reporting any inconsistencies to the Accounting Supervisor.
  • Provide change and department keys to opening cashiers.
  • Manage cash receipts from a variety of locations and in a variety of reporting formats.
  • Run and upload daily reports to the shared drive and prepare accounting worksheets.  
  • Assist with Month-end; ATM report, Petty Cash, Daily Deposit log, and Cashier Audits.  
  • Prepare Daily Revenue Report when needed. 
  • Assist with aging accounts, collection calls, and letters.
  • Track KL vessels, vehicles and trailers, keeping info in spreadsheet for insurance and registration purposes.
  • Count and work up deposit for campground money and laundry coin.  
  • Provide back up to company accounting tasks as required by supervisor.
Moorage:
  • Assist Moorage with calls, slip rentals, insurance and registration needs.
  • Processes moorage payments when needed.
  • Monitor Trailer Village and Moorage accounts and ensure everyone has the proper documentation and signed contracts.
  • Send violation letters/emails, as directed by the Moorage Supervisor, to Trailer Village and Moorage guests.
Both Accounting and Moorage:
  • Ensure that procedures are compliant and updated at all times, with approval from your Supervisor.  
  • Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all data information related to specific job assignments and Vista Recreation in general.  
  • Routinely assist with answering the phones.  
  • Have a "go-getter," friendly, helpful attitude to both guests and employees.  
  • Perform all other duties as assigned. 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of accounting experience, which includes G.L. entries, bank reconciliations, petty cash, and cash receipts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and be insurable through our auto carrier.
  • Some college-level accounting education is preferred.
  • A.R., A.P., and or payroll experience is desired.
