Groom Technician

Groom Technician in Training (Paragon Program)

Position Summary

Petsense is seeking a compassionate, motivated Groom Technician in Training to join our grooming team. This position is designed for individuals interested in building a career in pet grooming through our Paragon professional training program.

The Paragon program combines hands-on experience, online coursework, educational videos, practical exercises, and skill assessments to teach essential grooming techniques, pet safety, pet first aid and CPR, animal handling, dog anatomy, and breed-specific grooming practices. Store-provided tools are available throughout training, and successful completion of Paragon Level 2 earns participants their own professional grooming toolkit.

What You'll Learn

  • Safe pet handling and restraint techniques
  • Bathing, drying, brushing, and combing all coat types
  • Nail trimming and ear cleaning
  • Basic clipping and finishing techniques
