Job description

Petroleum Technician
The Petroleum Technician will need to have knowledge of underground/aboveground petroleum equipment installations, upgrades, repairs, closures and general environmental construction, concrete, excavation, etc. This position is field-based and requires travel to project sites throughout Maryland and surrounding regions.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare construction sites by organizing materials, tools, and equipment for daily operations
* Complete assigned construction tasks efficiently while following instructions and project requirements
* Assist foremen, supervisors, and crew members with various job site activities as needed
* Follow all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored
Required Skills & Experience:
* 2+ years of experience in field construction, mechanical installation, or related field of work
* Experience in the pump and tank, and/or petroleum industries
* Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4pm
* Comfortable with local travel
Preferred Skills & Experience:
* OSHA 10 or OSHA HAZWOPER certifications are preferred
