Pet walkers take their clients’ pets, usually dogs, out for walks around the neighborhood. These excursions typically last thirty minutes to an hour, though some pet walkers may choose to take the dogs out for more extended activities, such as going to a dog park. It is possible to walk other animals, such as cats and rabbits, but pet walkers rarely work with those kinds of pets. As a pet walker, your job duties may also include ensuring the dog has enough food and water after a walk, monitoring their exercise level, and taking them to the vet if necessary.
