Job description

You must have an EXTREME love for dogs to apply for this position. Dog Walkers provide in-home pet sitting, dog walking and overnight care for our clients' pets. The Dog Walking position includes walking the client's dog(s), feeding and watering per client instruction. You must also be able to self-manage and be comfortable walking in the heat, cold rain and/or snow. 10am-6pm are the hours most suited for the dog walking job. The work schedule varies depending on the clients' needs and may include mornings, mid-day, evenings, weekdays, weekends and holidays. All staff are hired flexible part-time.
Compensation:
Walkers receive a 45% commission of revenues paid by their clients After 6 months commission increases to 50%.
Qualifications:
  • must posess a passion for animals and commitment to consistently providing excellent service
  • must currently own a pet and be the primary caregiver NO EXCEPTIONS
  • must be at least 21 years old
  • high school diploma or equivalent (some college or undergraduate degree preferred)
  • must have worked for another dog walking / pet sitting company or are involved in rescue groups
  • minimum 3 years experience with dogs and cats (this can include raising your own pets)
  • excellent communication, follow up and time management skills
  • strong computer skills
  • reliable transportation

  • Must be able to give a 1 year commitment
  • Must pass thorough background check
