Positions Available: Protein Production, Pet Food Production, Operator Laborers & Forklift Operators
Pilgrim’s wants YOU to join our hourly production team! We are hiring motivated individuals to support our Protein and Pet Food operations. At Pilgrim’s, Safety Is A Condition — the safety of our team members always comes first.
Position Overview
Pet Food / Protein Laborers are responsible for operating machinery, performing manual labor, and supporting production processes in accordance with USDA and Pilgrim’s standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring product quality, safety, and efficiency.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery and perform manual labor tasks as assigned
  • Process product according to established procedures and quality/quantity expectations
  • Observe equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns to appropriate personnel
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist team members by sharing knowledge and skills gained from the position
  • Follow all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere through effective communication and teamwork
  • Recognize and act on safety risks; consistently practice and enforce safe work habits
  • Participate in process improvement and problem-solving using continuous improvement methods
  • Follow all company animal welfare guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned
