We’re seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Plant General Warehouse Worker to join the PureBites® and Primal Pet Foods Team located in Vaudreuil Packaging Plant.

Position Summary
The General Production Worker is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and high-quality packaging of pet treats. This position performs a variety of production tasks including operating packaging equipment, preparing packaging materials, monitoring product quality, packing finished products into cases, palletizing, cleaning, and completing required production records.
The employee must follow all company procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), food and pet-food safety requirements, and workplace safety rules.
General Production Worker – Key Responsibilities
Packaging Operations
  • Operate and monitor packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare packaging materials and assist with line setup and product changeovers.
  • Monitor the packaging line and report equipment or production issues.
Product & Quality Checks
  • Check product weight, packaging, seals, labels, and lot/date codes.
  • Identify and report damaged or non-conforming products.
  • Complete required production and quality records.
Case Packing & Palletizing
  • Pack finished products into cases according to specifications.
  • Build, label, and organize pallets properly.
  • Ensure finished products are properly identified and stored.
Cleaning & Sanitation
  • Keep the production area clean and organized throughout the shift.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and work areas according to SOPs.
  • Properly dispose of waste and maintain good housekeeping.
Safety
  • Follow all company safety, PPE, GMP, and pet-food safety requirements.
  • Operate equipment only when properly trained and authorized.
  • Report hazards, injuries, equipment issues, and unsafe conditions immediately.
Teamwork
  • Work cooperatively with team members to meet daily production goals.
  • Follow instructions from the team lead or plant manager and communicate issues promptly.
  • Assist other production areas when required and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
