We want ambitious people to join our Pest Control team in Cypress, Texas! We are hiring a hard-working, personable, detail-oriented Pest Control Technician that is CA licensed. This is a full-time position located in Cypress, TX. The candidate should enjoy working as a team but excel on an individual level.

The Pest Control Technician is responsible for inspecting customers’ premises (residential and commercial), identifying which type of insect, bug, or animal you come across, advising them on treatment options, and performing service.

We are a full-service residential and commercial pest control company in Cypress, Texas. Our highly trained service professionals perform year-round treatment. We treat the most common pests and rodents in Texas, such as fire ants, sugar ants, mosquitoes, spiders, mice, rats, roaches, and ticks.

Responsibilities include:

→ Running an assigned daily route where you will resolve customer pest concerns and issues.
→ Inspect the property and the surrounding environment for signs of pest infestation.
→ Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate pests.
→ Estimate the cost of services rendered to clients or customers.
→ Apply pesticide safely in buildings or structures and the surrounding environment.
→ Managing a maintenance schedule company truck
→ Keep company equipment in proper working order.
→ Keep accurate records of all treatments provided.
→ Collecting payments for services rendered
→ Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following State and Federal laws.
→ Actively work to expand the route with new customers.

Requirements and skills:
→ MUST HAVE A CERTIFIED APPLICATOR'S LICENSE
→ Proven work experience as a Pest Control Technician or similar role
→ Must possess physical stamina and be able to withstand harsh conditions.
→ Ability to stand for an extended period and work in uncomfortable environments.
→ Must be detail oriented.
→ Follow detailed instructions in applying pesticides to avoid harm to the client and self.
→ Must possess good customer service skills and be customer focused.
→ Strong ability to keep good records of hours worked, chemicals used, and payment collected.
→ High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
→ A valid Texas Department of Agriculture General Pest and Termite Technician Certification

Qualifications:
→ No more than 1 moving violation in the past year.
→ No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years.
→ A minimum of 4 years with a valid driver's license is required.
→ A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires
